A Notary Public is a public officer constituted by law to serve the public in non-contentious matters usually concerned with foreign or international business.

Michael Byrne was appointed a Notary Public by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in 1992. Michael was a Partner in Hoey & Denning LLP from 1990 – 2013 and practised as a solicitor until December 2022.
